a painting by Jon Avelluto. Now, I didn’t really get this series until someone explained it to me. I had assumed they were sketches of a deconstructed piece of loose leaf paper (or something). But really, the pieces are layers and layers of acrylic paint mounted on a glass pane. High concept fun!

ULTRA GLITTER SPACE ALIEN COSTUMES! These are the guys i battled @ BONZAI last week. They rule so hard. Not pictured: hand made Alexander McQueen styled armadillo heels (in which these bitches duck walked and vogued all damn night).
